As one way of easing mobility challenges which girl learners face in rural areas, the Education Expertise Development Foundation (EEDF) on Monday handed over 20 bicycles to learners at Mfera Community Day Secondary School in Chikwawa District. EEDF’s representative, Moffat Njati, said the 20 girls were selected based on the long distances they covered on foot from their homes to school and back, which negatively impacted on their performance in class.
