Mana: Shunning of witnesses to testify in courts is said to be delaying completion of court cases in Dedza, Malawi News Agency has leant. Speaking in an interview with the Malawi news Agency (MANA) on Wednesday, Dedza First Grade Magistrate, Richie Gomani said in 2017, 33 civil and criminal cases were still pending as witnesses did not show up in court proceedings. He said the development was delaying completion of some cases, since 2016 over 42 civil and criminal cases were still pending while 33 cases that were registered in 2017 are not yet completed.
